Rio by name, Rio by nature?

If you've ever popped by my blog before you will know that little Rio is ball obsessed. Its what made him take his first steps, say his first words, and what 70% of his day consists of. Therefore you will have noticed we never pass up the opportunity to take a ball out with us for the day & to make the most of the nice weather before the much needed rain and thunderstorms, we packed it under the pushchair and headed for the park.

The picture above is what we were greeted with. Everytime i tried to slide it out of his hands he woke up, grabbed it tighter to his chest and nodded back off again in contented sleep. Me & Craig took this as an opportunity to chat and relax on a bench infront of the pond watching the little ducklings..before it was time to jump in the car and go do the dreaded Asda shop that is!!

No naps only nappies

Might sound crazy to those of you that do or did, but i dont nap. I did a few times with Craig that first week but it makes me actually feel worse. Granted in the night i feel and look like a zombie, that first feed is a killer. But once im up and about the next day i feel okay. Craig does the night feeds friday and sat so i catch up abit then..when im not checking he's okay. Do i advise others to do the same? hell to the no! Sleep when you can you crazy people.
