I've just been commenting on one of my favourite blogs and realised that i havent yet put on here than Rio is back in our room? If i have i cant remember but anyway.
A few posts back i blogged about the sick in the eyes incident. Well..the next night (i think) he had a coughing fit and i just got in there in time (even though i ran across the landing at pretty much the same speed as ussain bolt :p ) for him to be sick everywhere, i sat him up and he projectiled up the side of our pretty cot. Thankgoodness its cream, only joking i did wipe it all down with antibacterial, im not a tramp. After that i couldnt settle, i was in and out of his room checking on him constantly even though the baby monitors proved he was breathing fine and fast asleep.
The next night i was about to put him in bed and even with the medicine from the doctors his cough was no better (please dont get me started on my doctors, i rang for an appointment and they said is a weeks time okay? for a 4 month old baby!!) so i got out the allen key and took the cot back down, and put it back up at the bottom of our bed..just call me Mrs DIY. Ask Craig, im a pro, he stood back and watched as it must be the third time ive done it now and he was pretty clueless, i mean...he's torn his stomach muscles.
I also put up a bike the next day, yeah..pretty sure i should change my name ;)
So for now, Rio is at the end of my bed, sleeping back through like a good'un. How long for i dont know..they say til their 6 months old anyway so an extra month wont hurt right?

You should change your name to super mum haha, I know how you feel I think even when Alfie is older he will still be sleeping in our bedroom. People probaly think we our clingy with our sons but our baby was in our belly for 9 months we shoudn't have to apologize for wanting them near us! Hope your gorgeous little munchkin is better soon xxxx
