Exhaustion

This post is going to be so contradicting to one i posted not to long back reguarding sleep, or the lack of it. In said post i mentioned that i dont nap and once im up and about i seem to do pretty okay considering.

Well... with Rio's thrush making him sick i've been watching him that little bit more in the night. If thats even possible. The cream is working but i was told it takes a week and im only on day two, so im expecting the odd sicky episode here and there still. But last night was different. He was projectiling so much up at once it was coming out of his nose...arghhh. He struggled to regain his breathe afterwards and basically you could of heard mine and Craigs hearts from outside the room i think. Scary as hell. He smiled away afterwards however, which resulted in me kissing him over and over. Yes i didnt care he'd just passed the contents of his stomach though those very lips. One of the changes that motherhood makes on a girly girl i guess. There is quite a list.

Anyways i'm rambling on.. after that i just laid him on my bed and sat upright watching him sleep. I didnt dare take my eyes off him incase that happened when he was in his moses basket and i was asleep. At around 4am after his bottle i had to give in. Though i did wake and check him countless times afterwards.

So yes, today i feel exhausted. I actually do want to nap..but i wont because, damn you mr naps, they make me feel worse. Oh well, one night left then Craig gets to do three in a row. Mwahahaha thankyou mr birthday :)

The picture above is Rio 6 weeks. Not that the summery outfit lasted long in this heat. Stripped down to a vest in the first 5 mins with me constantly stopping the pram to check he was cool enough and the sun wasnt reaching him. Hot blooded like his dada. I on the otherhand am a nesh cold arse. And still had the winter quilt upto my neck.
