I feel useless

Nothing prepares you for how useless you will feel when your little one gets poorly. They cant tell you whats the matter as such so you really just have to do your best to comfort them. For the past two nights Rio has been projectile vomitting after a feed, be it after a burp or just randomly.

Those of you who arnt parents may be like "EWWW", but those of you that are will agree with me when i say it doesnt matter where it goes as its better out than in. So yes, ive had my fair share of sick covered jeans and pjs and done my fair share of floor mopping and bedding changing. Thank god for laminate.

Im currently waiting for the doctor to ring back as yet again there is no appointments til wednesday. Im not sure if its connected to the thrush i think he's got or he's just having a sicky couple of days. Possetting a little too much maybe? Hes still gaining weight so i shouldnt be too worried but gosh.. everytime he does it my heart is in my chest and i just want to snuggle him. He's fine in himself though, as happy and content as ever.. smiling away without a care in the world. And yes before you say, i know babies are sicky but i still feel useless. Until the doctor see's us all mummy has to offer is cuddles, unlimited cuddles!!
