Mr Rio is now in his cot. 11 week old. He's grown so fast i thought it was time he had some more room. Gosh he looks so tiny at the bottom, like a little newborn again :D aww. The first night felt so weird, id got used to rocking him back to sleep after a feed. I may of even tried wobbling the cot abit hehe. Needless to say, that didnt work. And he self settled and slept until half 4. He does that all the time now. Infact last night he went 8.30 til 5 :o wowzers. One night feed really isnt bad at all. I feel more tired with extra sleep though? got so used to waking up every 3 hours on the dot. I swear babies have built in feeding alarms. Praying we dont get the 'four month regression'.
Word to the wise. Dont put the cot up in the nursery. Yesss it may look all adorable waiting for them to arrive etc, but they wont be in that moses basket til 6 months and they can go in their own room. No sir ee. You'll have to take it down and put it back up in your room. Probs on your own because your too impatient to wait til your partner gets in from work. hehe x

I've no idea what to do when Alfie is born, is it bad to put a newborn in a cot or are you better of with a moses basket to start with? I've had people telling me different things, motherhood sounds soo complicated! haha.

i think its personal preference, they tell you to have a moses basket at first but it is upto you. Aslong as you put them with their feet to the bottom so they dont slide down i cant imagine why not?? ..dw it will just come naturally hun, times flying, wont be long til alfie's here :)
