You know that moment when your little one is napping and your relaxing on the sofa when suddenly the toys start activivating themselves? Yeah this post is about that.
Rio got the laugh and play puppy for christmas. Sometimes he likes it, sometimes he doesnt. 90% of the time its sat on his pushalong in silence..until last night! Why must they do that? Now im not normally phased about spooky things, hey its frequent talk topic in our family, we all like abit of paranormal but when it involves children or childrens toys? Blerghhhh!! Heeby jeebies. That little puppy randomly saying "bye bye" nearly made me have my first case of post child incontinence.
So do your childrens toys like to set themselves off? Apparently its another thing i need to get used to in mummyworld!
Is this the little dog that says, "You're my bestfriend!"? Because if it is, it once went off in the middle of the night while I was alone in the house. FREAKY! Oh, and out the nose sick and simultaneous poop/vomit are the worst! LOL!

DeleteYes!!! This happens to me all the time! My son has this little toy and every little moment that you make around the house (even if you breathe too hard) it decides to start singing or rolling around. It is the creepiest thing in the world! And even after all this time it always scares the crap out of me. It freaks my son out too - the toy has found itself flung across the room a number of times! LOL!!!

3) I love scary things, Paranormal activity was my favorite movie followed by 2 and 3. BUT I absolute will freak the frick out and hate toys that do this! Most recently, my 4 yr old wouldn't go into his dark room to turn his own light on because he says his "toys would hurt him." Long sigh, I got up off my 11:00 at night, kids should be sleeping, wine induced lazy tush, walked up to his room and a second away from pulling the cord on the ceiling fan light, Sheriff woody shouts "HEY HOWDY HEY!" I bolted from the room without turning on the lights and let him sleep in my bed for the remainder of night.
No problem :) ..Hahaa you went in there all ready to prove there was nothing to be afraid of and wham!! Freaky toy alert! x
DeleteI hate it when toys do that! They sit quiet until babies are asleep, then away they go! It's like they know that you've sat down and are conspiring against mummy having five mins peace! Xx

DeleteHaha, too funny! Just after we moved into our new house, my husband was working late one night and after the kids were in bed, I was watching TV when I heard quiet laughing. It was one of my daughter's toys but it TERRIFIED me. I now make sure everything is off before it goes in the toy basket!
